Frugi, formerly known as Cut4Cloth, was established by Lucy and Kurt Jewson to create colourful and fun organic children’s clothes. Frugi has always made fabulous 100% organic cotton baby clothes, and are now also offering boys and girls clothing all of which is certified organic by Control Union, which used to be called SKAL.
The cotton farmers are also paid a premium and fair price and the workers aren’t exposed to any of the toxic chemicals used in conventional cotton production. And since no nasty chemicals or pesticides are involved, there’s nothing in the fabric to irritate delicate young skin. Frugi is also a member of 1% For the Planet, an alliance of businesses that donate to environmental grass-roots concerns.
